Our Staff
Our highly trained and experienced staff bring a total of over 25 combined years of teaching experience into our classroom. With this experience comes the ability to work with individual children's learning styles, abilities, and challenges.
Nicole Corriveau
Dana Raimkhanova
As a mother of 3, Nicole brings her love of children into the classroom. With a background in Post Graduate Education studies (Univ. of Western Sydney), and additional courses in Royal Conservatory of Music, and ECE, Nicole loves bringing music, literacy, and thematic work to the curriculum.
Nicole also acts as Managing Director of the school, overseeing the quality of the centre for Vancouver Coastal Health.
Nicole began teaching with Mosaic's founding school, Ivy Montessori, in 1995, and has over 25 years of classroom experience.
Dana is a highly trained support teacher who has worked in various educational settings. She is fully qualified as an SA and is completing her ECE coursework at Sprott Shaw College.
Dana provides support in the classroom to the lead teachers and assists with curriculum prep and daily activities.
Dana is originally from Kazakhastan where she studied business and economics, before immigrating to Canada with her husband and two daughters.
Her hobbies cooking and exploring the outdoors with her family.
Mei Khong
Mei first began her teaching career with Ivy Montessori (founding preschool) in 2002. Her credentials include AMI Montessori Primary Teacher Diploma, ECE License to Practice of BC, Emergency Childcare and First Aid & CPR.
Her two children both also attended Ivy Montessori School.
Mei acts as Director of the school, and oversees the Montessori curriculum and Mathematics program. She is a passionate educator in the Montessori pedagogy and brings in many more aspects that include Early Childhood Educator curriculum. Mei brings her love of art and science into the classroom and plans monthly activities in these areas.
Gloria Salazar
Gloria is originally from Manila, Philippines, where she earned a Bachelor of Elementary Education.
Since moving to Canada, Gloria has studied Early Childhood Education and has now completed her diploma at Vancouver Community College.
Gloria has worked in a variety of child care settings in Vancouver, and most recently worked with out partner organization, JKC. Gloria is continuing her studies at VCC and is now persuitng a diploma in Special Needs and Infant Toddler training.
